Cost Segregation Team

Chris joined SourceHOV | Tax in 2012 as the Managing Director of Cost Segregation and EPAct §179D. Before providing cost segregation services, Chris spent 16 years as a general contractor. His cost segregation experience includes Arthur Andersen, Marshall & Stevens, and most recently, CB Richard Ellis. Chris is a frequent speaker at building and construction related forums as well as at CPA society meetings. He holds a B.S. degree in construction and finance from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of Southern California.

Charles joined SourceHOV | Tax in 2012 as the Director of Cost Segregation and EPAct §179D. He has extensive experience in the cost segregation industry having managed more than 1,000 studies in a wide variety of industries. He previously served as the national cost segregation services director at two boutique tax services firms as well as having experience providing cost segregation services at both E&Y and KPMG. Charles holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in architecture from Tulane University.

Andy joined SourceHOV | Tax in 2013 as a consultant for the Cost Segregation department. He has extensive experience in the cost segregation industry having managed several studies for a variety of commercial properties. Andy holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas as well as an Associate’s degree in Computer Drafting from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

Susan joined the SourceHOV | Tax Cost Segregation team in 2003 as a Senior Consultant. She has nearly a decade of experience in cost segregation and valuation. Susan earned an associate’s degree in Architectural Technology from Tarrant County College. In the past, she spent 16 years as a design consultant specializing in commercial and residential construction.

Imran joined SourceHOV | Tax as an energy modeler and cost segregation consultant in 2010. He was previously a mechanical engineer at HMS Engineering in Chicago. Imran received a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and a licensed professional engineer.

Kirk joined SourceHOV | Tax in 2013 as a consultant for the Cost Segregation department. Before SourceHOV | Tax, Kirk led the western regional cost segregation division for CBRE, Inc. He has 11 years of construction and real estate experience in California, and 9 years of cost segregation experience. Kirk has an MBA from San Jose State University and a BA from the University of California Santa Cruz.

Tim is joining SourceHOV Tax, Inc, as a Consultant in the Cost Segregation Department. Before SourceHOV Tax, Inc., Tim was a Supervising Consultant with BKD LLP. He has 8 years of experience in real estate cost segregation for new construction, existing buildings undergoing renovation/restoration/remodel, leasehold improvements and property acquisitions. Tim earned a Masters of Business Administration degree in 2009 and a Bachelors of Science degree in construction management and engineering technologies in 2006 from Purdue University.

Mike joined the SourceHOV | Tax Cost Segregation team in 2014 as a manager. He has over 10 years of experience in fixed asset accounting including cost segregation, repair studies, fixed asset reclassification projects and business personal property tax. Mike’s has worked in the past for KPMG and most recently Baker Tilly Virchow Krause. Mike earned a B.S. in Finance from West Texas A&M University and an Associate’s degree in Management from Amarillo College.

Rik joined SourceHOV | Tax in 2016 as a manager for the Cost Segregation Team. He has 5 years of experience in real estate cost segregation for new construction, existing buildings undergoing renovation/restoration/remodel, leasehold improvements and property acquisitions.
